Brand Surgery gives Millionaire Seminar a Facelift

In July of 2005, seminar organisers Millionaire Mind Events, called in Amadi Design to improve their brand and position them as a market leader.

Millionaire Mind Events, London, was set up by partners George Zambartas, and Costas Tsangaris, in 200? to fill a gap in the UK's business marketing sector. Jumping on the wave of optimism generated by industry leaders and seminar leaders such as, Robert Kiyosaki, and Anthony Robbins, MME was created to bring the ‘knowledge’ closer to home. The MME seminars run for two intensive days and host some of the business world’s most successful names, who to share their marketing insights and answer questions from seminar delegates.

MME had already launched the campaign to advertise their Oct 2005 event in London, when they called in Amadi Design for some help.
The rebranding of MME included PowerPoint presentations, fax mailers, Stationery, seminar brochures, and copywriting.

“George and Costas came to us with a ‘Million Dollar Product’: MME. It was clear to us that they were experts in their field of business; but it was also clear that their ‘baby’ had speedily grown and needed our attention. From the outcome we could see that a lot of work would have to be done to redeem the image of the brand, before we could start take it forward. Various aspects of the branding were not correct, so were not hitting the intended targets. We started with the logo, and worked our way through to rewriting copy and generally getting MME rebalanced,” said Kelechi Amadi, Director of Amadi Design, who initiated MME’s brand surgery.

Key to the success of the project was the modification of the MME logo, and the highlighting of one of the seminar’s speaker’s: Simon Woodroffe, entrepreneur – more commonly known for his role in BBC’s entrepreneurial programme, Dragon’s Den. In the initial launch of the campaign, Simon’s name was hidden away in the copy, with the rest of the features and benefits. But once the oversight was spotted it oversight was turned around to capitalise on Simon’s popularity.
“We had to rewrite the copy for most of the MME outbound communications, in an attempt to unify their voice and clearly sell the benefits of their 2005 London seminar.” said Amadi’s Creative Director, Nat Cato.

Speakers at the October seminar: Simon Woodroffe, BBC‘s Dragons Den; Richard Reed, Innocent; Alexander Amousu, mobile phone ringtones; Millionaire B.J. Cunningham, and others…
